Meet Annie Nuño - Founder, Designer, & Planner

At a young age, Annie knew she was an entrepreneur but hadn’t yet uncovered her calling for the events and wedding industries. Annie was very close with her grandmother and was inspired by her hard work and passion as a large-scale event planner for socialites in New Jersey. 

Throughout her life, Annie was a dancer and used this talent to choreograph quinceañeras. From there, she made and created connections with dozens of vendors and her events career began to blossom behind the booth as an MC, choreographer, and Day of Coordinator at these parties! But her talents didn’t stop there, she soon began planning these lavish birthday parties and even landed a position in corporate events.

During her time in corporate events, Annie had the opportunity to plan large-scale events for prominent companies like Hershey’s, Ellen DeGeneres, and General Mills. Because of her attention to detail and natural ability to create a one-of-a-kind event, clients started asking her to plan their personal events like elegant quinceañera and even weddings. As Annie Nuño continued to receive more and more inquiries, she found herself excited and more interested in these opportunities.

She continued to work in corporate events, but it wasn’t until she had a mother call her to plan her daughter’s wedding because she planned another daughter’s quinceañera that Annie knew she had a new calling. Annie then decided to take a leap of faith that was coupled with trust from clients, confidence in herself, and the support from her husband that she opened Soirée Co. in June 2009. 

Over a decade later, renowned wedding designer Annie Nuño believes a wedding should be a remarkable event that showcases the union of both the couples and their families. In an intertwining day to celebrate love, Annie’s experiences are unique, unforgettable, and perfectly encapsulate the essence of each couple she serves.

She continues to take pride in the opportunity to be such an integral part of one of the most important days of her client’s lives. With her innate ability to delicately piece together a captivating event for each couple, she brings their vision to life by fully immersing herself in the process. She allows her designs to consume her until she can smell, taste, and feel every detail of the event to bring it to fruition. 

The Soiree Co. consists of Annie and her hand-selected team of wedding designers and planners. Each team member has been trained to assist in bringing magic and sophistication to your special day. By working with her skilled team, you are working with an extension of Annie herself. With their meticulous attention to detail, Annie’s team will design a luxurious, sophisticated, and personalized event that will have guests reminiscing on your special day for years to come. 

Today, Annie and her husband are blessed with three children and find time to balance personal and family life with work and philanthropic endeavors with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. As a mother, event professional, and philanthropist, Annie inspires her children every day to be the best versions of themselves and to celebrate their unique gifts and talents.
